Having been part of the University of Michigan Football teams in 1969-71, Jim was a part of two Big Ten championship teams, he participated in two Rose Bowl games, and his Wolverine teams compiled a three year record of 28-5. In his senior season, Jim was honored with All Big Ten recognition as an offensive tackle.
